The Joint Research Laboratory on Applied Artificial Intelligence (JRL-A2I) is a collaborative initiative between Tecnalia, the Basque Center for Applied Mathematics (BCAM), and the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU)
It brings together experts from diverse fields, such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, and social sciences. By leveraging our collective expertise, we tackle complex real-world challenges and develop practical AI solutions that address societal needs.

Predoctoral Offer in Deep Data-Driven Computing

Within the groups MATHMODE at UPV/EHU and MATHDES at BCAM (Bilbao, Spain), we are developing novel techniques for solving Partial Differential Equations using Neural Networks that incorporate expert knowledge in Numerical Analysis. The so-called physics-aware neural networks. We offer Ph.D. positions to develop new algorithms, implement them, and apply them to real-life engineering applications.
